Chargers Injury Updates
Coach Jim Harbaugh didn’t have much to share about injuries early this week. “I don’t have an update on anyone today,” he said. “Let’s wait for treatment. By Wednesday, we’ll know who’s practicing and how much.”
The Chargers have practice lined up for Wednesday through Friday before heading to the East Coast. One player to watch is rookie running back Omarion Hampton, who is nursing an ankle injury and missed Sunday’s game against Denver. “He’s doing everything he can to get back quickly,” Harbaugh added.
Left tackle Jamaree Salyer is another name on the radar. He hurt his hamstring in Week 16 but did manage a pregame workout in Denver. “We’re focusing on his treatment and rehab,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll see his progress by Wednesday.” Donte Jackson, a cornerback who also injured his ankle against the Broncos, is worth keeping an eye on as well.
Respect for the Patriots

Harbaugh highlighted their adaptability, noting they could switch up their defensive schemes effectively. “They’re sound tactically, with good coverages and strong tackling,” he said. “They put players in positions to succeed, and that’s a big factor in their success.”
