Jammu Kashmir News: A significant street accident occurred on Tuesday (December 24, 2024) in Balnoi sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. In this accident, an army automobile fell into a 300 toes deep ditch. Five soldiers have died in this accident. White Knight Corps has expressed condolences on the demise of the soldiers. Rescue operations are underway on the scene and injured personnel are being handled.
Regarding the accident, police officers mentioned, “At around 17:40 pm on Tuesday, an army vehicle of 11 Maratha Light Infantry, which was going from Neelam Headquarters towards Balnoi Ghora Post near the LoC, met with an accident near Ghora Post. Went.” He mentioned that the automobile fell into a ditch about 150 toes deep, resulting from which 10 soldiers together with the driving force have been severely injured. A fast response crew (QRT) of 11 Maratha Light Infantry and a police crew from Mankot reached the spot and began rescue operations.
