The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching a new journey: the ‘Bharat-Bhutan Mystic Mountain Tour.’ Set to start on June 28, 2025, this exciting tour connects India and Bhutan.
The trip lasts for 14 days and kicks off in New Delhi, heading to Northeastern India. Travelers will visit Guwahati, Shillong, and Cherrapunji before crossing into Bhutan through Phuentsholing. Once in Bhutan, the group will explore stunning places like Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro.
Starting from New Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station, the train will take guests to Guwahati, where they’ll visit the famous Kamakhya Temple. This temple is one of the oldest and most revered in India. From Guwahati, travelers will head to Shillong, a charming city known for its beautiful landscapes and rich culture. A must-see is Umium Lake, where a sunset cruise offers breathtaking views.
