Lubbock Christian Men’s Soccer Announces Exciting 2025 Schedule
Lubbock Christian University’s head men’s soccer coach, Collin Cone, has revealed the 2025 schedule. The team will participate in 17 regular-season matches and has 10 opportunities for fans to cheer them on at home in the Hub City.
The Chaps kick off the preseason with scrimmages against Division III schools on August 23 and 26. Both games will be held at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex.
Their season officially starts on September 4 when they visit Fort Lewis College in Colorado. They’ll play against Adams State shortly after that. The home opener is set for September 11 at 7:30 p.m. against Northeastern State.
Following this, Lubbock Christian will host several home matches. They’ll face teams like UT Dallas, Sul Ross State, St. Mary’s, Texas A&M International, Oklahoma Christian, Dallas Baptist, and Midwestern State. Notably, the game against UT Dallas on September 13 will also celebrate Senior Day.
After the Colorado matches, the team will be on the road again, taking on Fort Hays State, Newman, St. Edward’s, and UT Tyler, among others.
Lone Star Conference play kicks off with a home match against St. Mary’s on October 1. The conference format is a single round-robin against all teams. The top six teams after the regular season will advance to the postseason tournament.
Last season, the Chaps wrapped up with a record of 6-6-5 and had five players earn All-Conference honors. As they look forward to 2025, the team hopes to build on these achievements.
