Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kanpur. This visit was significant as it followed the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a military initiative showcasing India’s growing strength.

New thermal power plants have raised Uttar Pradesh’s capacity from 15,000 MW to 25,000 MW, with an additional 4,000 MW expected by year-end. Furthermore, more than 1.21 lakh rural households are now connected to electricity, aiding 1.78 crore underprivileged families.

CM Yogi highlighted initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, which has already seen free rooftop solar panels installed in over 1.31 lakh homes.

He concluded by noting that the progress in Kanpur reflects the overall growth of Uttar Pradesh. Under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, the state is making strides toward security and economic advancement.
