MALDEN, Mo. – This summer, Malden High School is hosting one of Moses Harper’s Satellite Football camps.
On Saturday, June 14, the school will welcome the Bootheel Showcase and an Individual Development Camp led by Lincoln University.
This camp is a fantastic chance for high school athletes to improve their skills and get seen by college coaches. Participants will receive hands-on training and take part in drills with the Lincoln University coaching staff.
During the camp, each athlete’s height and weight will be recorded. They’ll also undergo various athletic tests. These include measuring their vertical and broad jumps, as well as timing their 40-yard dash. After these assessments, campers will engage in one-on-one drills with coaches.
Students entering grades 9 through 12 are invited to join. Pre-registration is open for $50, while on-the-day registration will be $60 (from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.). The camp kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and wraps up at 3 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to bring cleats and water. Linemen should also pack helmets and shoulder pads, while quarterbacks are advised to bring their own football.

Football camps like this one are gaining popularity. According to a recent NCAA survey, participation in football camps has increased by 15% over the last five years. These camps not only help athletes develop their skills but also provide valuable exposure to college recruiters. In a competitive landscape, getting noticed is more important than ever.
As coach Moses Harper noted in a recent interview, "These camps can be the difference between an athlete getting a scholarship or not." The focus today is on skill development and showcasing talent, which makes events like the Malden camp essential for aspiring football players.
By participating in camps, athletes can build connections and improve their chances of reaching their goals.
