EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University has announced J Batt as its new Athletic Director. The reception and press conference for Batt will take place on Wednesday.

Batt, previously the Athletic Director at Georgia Tech, has signed a six-year contract with MSU, which is expected to boost his salary significantly. His appointment requires approval from the Board of Trustees, which will meet on June 13. He is set to begin his new role the following week.
