Two more street food vendors are joining the new market opening in Bradford next month. Mexi Bean Express and Jenny’s Jerk Chicken will move from Oastler Market to Darley Street Market, set to launch on July 12.

Mexi Bean Express serves tasty Mexican dishes and has multiple locations in Yorkshire. Meanwhile, Jenny’s Jerk Chicken offers delicious Caribbean cuisine. Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw believes these vendors highlight the best of Bradford’s culinary scene. He stated that Darley Street Market will become a popular destination for dining and socializing.

The new market promises a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of food options. Other confirmed vendors include Ayubowan, a Sri Lankan stall, and Bab Tooma, a Syrian restaurant. Local favorites like Taplins Butchers and Priestley Fish are also on board, having served Bradford since the early 20th century.

Blossoms & Co, a florist expanding from a nearby shop, is the first tenant in the Lifestyle Hall. The market aims to be at the center of Bradford’s revitalization plans. To celebrate, the council will host a weekend of events on July 12 and 13, inviting the community to join the festivities.
