The "Food Truck Extravaganza" is almost here, hosted by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. This event brings together over 40 food trucks for a day filled with delicious eats and fun!
Join us this Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Baytown Township. Besides tasty food, there will be live music, activities for kids, a beer and wine tent, and a marketplace.
A special feature this year is “Military Row,” where attendees can meet representatives from all four branches of the U.S. military, along with the Minnesota National Guard and Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
“It’s going to be another year of amazing food, great music, and a fantastic community atmosphere,” said Robin Anthony-Evenson, president of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. This event has become a summer favorite, connecting locals and supporting small businesses.
Admission is $10, but kids under five can attend for free. Pets are allowed on leashes, and parking is complimentary. Plus, part of the proceeds will go to a scholarship fund that helps local students pursue careers in the trades.
Recent studies show that community events like this foster a sense of belonging and support for local economies. According to a report from the National Endowment for the Arts, community gatherings significantly boost local business revenue, making them vital for economic growth.
So come hungry and ready to enjoy the atmosphere! For more details, check out their website here.
