• Indigenous Technology: All components, from the core network to end-user devices, have been developed by local suppliers, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative aimed at self-reliance.
• Fast Speeds: Initial tests in Hyderabad showed impressive results—download speeds of 980 Mbps and uploads of 140 Mbps, with very low latency. This is ideal for streaming, gaming, and video calls.
• Easy Installation: The service’s self-installation gateway can reach about 85% of households in Hyderabad using existing 5G towers, eliminating the need for extensive cabling.

BSNL isn’t stopping in Hyderabad. There’s a roadmap to expand the FWA service to other cities by September 2025. Future pilot launches are planned for major cities like Bengaluru and Pune.
