Exciting News for High Point University Volleyball!
Two talented players from High Point University (HPU) have been named to the Canadian teams for the upcoming U19 NORCECA Girls’ Pan American Cup and the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U19 World Championship. Remy Catojo, a 6’4" setter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Maya Bukovcan, a 6’3" middle blocker from Ottawa, Ontario, are both incoming freshmen this fall. They’ll proudly represent HPU and Canada this summer.
The tournament kicks off at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, from June 24 to June 28, 2025. Alongside Canada, teams from Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United States, and Venezuela will compete. The opening match featuring Canada against Costa Rica is scheduled for June 24 at 6:30 p.m.
