UNH Volleyball’s Exciting 2025 Season Ahead

The University of New Hampshire (UNH) volleyball team, under Coach Christopher Feliciano, is gearing up for a thrilling 2025 season. They kick off their campaign with the Holly Young Invitational on the last weekend of August.

Last season, UNH found success at Lundholm Gym, winning 10 out of 11 matches and clinching the America East championship. Fans can expect a solid home game roster this year, with 10 of their 23 matches scheduled at Lundholm.

Season Highlights:

• Opening Day: The Wildcats start strong on August 29, facing the College of the Holy Cross.
• Home Preview: On September 3, UNH will host the University of New Haven, marking their first encounter.
• Challenging Road Games: The team will take on competitors from Big Ten schools over the next two weekends. They’ll play against Kentucky and Penn State on September 6-7, followed by the Rutgers Invitational the following week.

As the month progresses, UNH will battle Merrimack College at home on September 16, before returning to Texas for another invitational, hoping to overcome the five-set loss to Texas A&M from the previous year.

Conference Play:
September wraps up with the first conference game against NJIT on September 28. This will be a crucial start for the Wildcats as they aim to defend their title.

Key Matchups:

• October 1: Home game against Bryant University.
• October 3: A rematch with UAlbany, who lost to UNH in last year’s championship.
• October 12: UMBC visits after UNH’s semifinals victory.

Later in October, UNH will head to New York to challenge Binghamton on the 17th and UAlbany on the 24th. They’ll return home to face NJIT on October 26.

Final Stretch:
The season wraps up on November 14 with a Senior Day match against Binghamton. The America East Championships kick off the following weekend on November 21-22, where fans hope for another shot at glory.
