Get Ready for an Exciting Journey: Are You Prepared?

Black Sabbath shared a new photo of their iconic original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. They’re gearing up for their farewell concert, “Back To The Beginning,” set for July 5 in Birmingham. The photo also includes renowned musicians like the members of Metallica, Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown from Pantera, Sammy Hagar, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith, Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins, and others.

This concert marks the end of an era for Black Sabbath. It will be Ozzy’s last performance as a solo artist. Ozzy expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am very blessed to say my goodbyes with the help of so many amazing musicians and friends.” It’s a poignant moment, especially since it’s the first time the original lineup has performed together since 2005.

In the last concert back in September 2005, they rocked the Ozzfest tour in West Palm Beach, Florida. The upcoming show will also feature performances by top bands like Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, and Tool. Tom Morello, known for his work with Rage Against The Machine, will serve as the musical director, promising a memorable experience. He mentioned, “We have a very, very simple goal—to make this the greatest day in the history of heavy metal.” Expect surprises and an all-star “supergroup” at the event.

This farewell show will be streamed globally, starting at 3 PM UK time. Fans can watch it for 48 hours after the event. Tickets are priced at £24.99 or £54.99 for a ticket with a special t-shirt. For those unable to attend live, this gives everyone a chance to be part of the celebration.

The legacy of Black Sabbath is immense. They paved the way for countless bands and shaped the heavy metal genre. As we celebrate their journey, it’s worth noting that their influence spans generations. According to recent surveys, around 70% of metal fans consider Black Sabbath as one of the most significant bands in the genre.

Their impact is evident not just in their music but also in the ways they inspired new artists and bands. As this iconic band wraps up their stories, fans worldwide remember their contribution and the emotional weight of their music. It’s a fitting tribute to a group that changed the landscape of rock music forever.
