Unveiling the Exciting 2025 Gonzaga Volleyball Schedule: Everything You Need to Know!

Gonzaga Volleyball’s 2025 Schedule is Here!

Gonzaga volleyball has just unveiled its 2025 game schedule, marking the first season with Coach JT Wenger at the helm. The team will compete in 11 non-conference matches and 18 West Coast Conference (WCC) games. Fans can soon grab tickets for all 13 home games at the Charlotte Y. Martin Centre.

The season kicks off in Phoenix, Arizona, starting with a match against UTRGV on August 29. They’ll face LIU Brooklyn the next day and take on the Grand Canyon Antelopes on August 31 as part of the Grand Canyon Invitational.

After returning home for the Gonzaga Invitational from September 4 to 6, where they’ll host CSU Bakersfield, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Montana State, the team will head to Indianapolis. There, they’ll play Northern Illinois and IU Indy on September 12, followed by Bellarmine on September 13. The non-conference games wrap up with a home match against Montana on September 18 and a game against Eastern Washington in Cheney on September 20.

The WCC season starts on September 25, with a home game against Santa Clara, followed by a match with San Francisco on September 27. A couple of road games will follow, including matches at Washington State on October 4 and Oregon State on October 9. Gonzaga will return home for three straight matches, hosting Seattle on October 11, Loyola Marymount on October 16, and Saint Mary’s on October 18. Notably, Loyola Marymount had a strong season last year, winning a game in the NCAA tournament after clinching the WCC title.

Gonzaga’s schedule includes an October road trip to California, where they’ll play Santa Clara on October 23 and San Francisco on October 25. They’ll have two home matches against Pacific on November 1 and Pepperdine on November 6, before an away game at Portland on November 8. The Zags will host Washington State again on November 12, then travel to Saint Mary’s on November 15 and Seattle on November 20.

The season concludes with a final home match against San Francisco on November 22, as they honor their senior players in the Martin Centre. The last two matches will be on the road at Pepperdine on November 26 and San Diego on November 29.

Given the competitive landscape of college volleyball, Gonzaga’s 2025 season promises excitement. Experts suggest that strong coaching leadership, like that of Coach Wenger, can significantly impact team performance. As the season approaches, fans are buzzing with anticipation for how the Bulldogs will perform against both traditional rivals and fresh challengers.
