Tragic Incident in West Bank: Family Claims Israeli Settlers Killed American-Palestinian Visiting Relatives

A 20-year-old Palestinian-American, Sayfollah “Saif” Musallet, was killed by Israeli settlers while visiting family in the occupied West Bank. His family reported that he was beaten and that ambulances were blocked from reaching him for three hours, leading to his death before he could get medical help.

Mohammed Nael Hijaz, a friend who rushed to the scene, recalled, “He was not moving when I got there and could barely breathe. There was time to save him.” Another victim, 23-year-old Razek Hussein al-Shalabi, was shot and left to bleed out. Both men’s funerals are set for Sunday.

Since the start of the conflict on October 7, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed and approximately 9,000 injured. In a statement, his family mourned him as a hardworking individual who cherished his Palestinian heritage. “He was just starting the prime of his life,” they said.
