Exclusive: Osher Günsberg Shares Behind-the-Scenes Reveal After His ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Exit

Osher Günsberg may not have been the most skilled dancer on this season of Dancing With The Stars, but he certainly knew how to entertain. His bright outfits and lively expressions made him a standout. Even though he was eliminated just shy of the semifinals, Osher had two more routines ready. If he had progressed, he would have performed a Viennese waltz and later a fun dance to Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” He imagined a creative backdrop to give the illusion of riding bicycles while performing.

While Osher was able to choose music for most of his dances, he didn’t get his way with the waltz. Instead of a modern hit, they opted for a Leonard Cohen song. Reflecting on his performances, he said, “Four out of five ain’t bad!”

When he was eliminated, he quietly expressed gratitude to his partner, Sriani Argaet, acknowledging her incredible skills and patience throughout their journey. “Thank you so much for getting me here,” he told her, highlighting their strong bond.

Looking ahead, Osher has his eyes on another challenge: Survivor. He’s interested in competing, although he admits he might struggle with the game. The thrill of reality TV ignited his passion for dance, much of which he felt inspired to explore for his step-daughter, Georgia.

Osher’s experience illustrates the joy of stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Shows like this not only entertain but also inspire connections and memories that last beyond the stage.
