Team USA and Lady Raiders Storm into Semifinals at World University Games!

ESSEN, Germany – Team USA’s women’s basketball team dominated Finland, winning 77-62, thanks to a standout performance from Jalynn Bristow, who scored 20 points. This victory propelled the team into the semifinals of the World University Games.

Bristow was on fire, hitting 7 of her 15 shots and sinking three 3-pointers. She also contributed seven rebounds, two steals, and matched the team’s top assists with four. DeYona Gaston also shone, achieving a double-double with 17 points and a solid 12 rebounds. She was effective on the floor, shooting 53.8 percent.

Adlee Blacklock and Jada Malone both scored 11 points. Blacklock also added four rebounds and four assists, while Malone had six rebounds and shot 60 percent from the field. Denae Fritz led the team with three steals, rounding out another strong defensive effort.
