Samaritan’s Purse Delivers Life-Saving Nutrient-Packed Food to Gaza: A Helping Hand in Crisis

Samaritan’s Purse, a charity based in North Carolina, recently delivered over 48 tons of food supplies to families in Gaza. They used DC-8 and 757 cargo planes to transport life-saving, nutrient-rich food packets, which were prepared by MANA, a Christian organization. The supplies will be distributed to families in need through trusted partners on the ground.

Franklin Graham, the president of Samaritan’s Purse, spoke about the hardships faced by innocent families in both Gaza and Israel. He emphasized that many lives are at stake and that these food supplies are a reminder that those suffering have not been forgotten. Graham also urged people to pray for peace in the region. The organization plans to send more aid flights soon.

Since Hamas’ invasion on October 7, Samaritan’s Purse has provided crucial assistance to civilians caught in the conflict. They have teamed up with other nonprofits to deliver food, water, and shelter materials to Palestinian families, while also offering medical aid and trauma kits to those in Israel. The charity has committed to supplying 42 ambulances to replace those lost in attacks, with more than half already delivered.

He highlighted the urgent need to feed children affected by the crisis while meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
