Cathay Pacific Airlines is stepping up its game by teaming up with a photo studio called “Shi-da.” This partnership aims to create a unique lifestyle experience for its members.
With this new service, Cathay members can enjoy photography sessions at five branches across South Korea. These locations include Bukchon House in Seoul and Gangnam Original. For every 1,000 won spent, members will earn 1 Asian Mile, Cathay’s loyalty currency.
To collect points, members simply need to book a session and show their Cathay membership card when they arrive. Excitingly, a new branch called Sihyeonha Dangsan Archive is set to open in September.
Sihyeonha stands out because it promotes a culture of individual expression. The studio focuses on capturing each person’s unique traits through photography. This aligns well with Cathay’s mission to emphasize personal lifestyle choices.
Cathay is evolving beyond just air travel into a broader lifestyle brand. The airline is now part of various experiences that enhance well-being, thanks to its partnership with Sihyeonhada.
Donald Morris, head of Cathay’s Korean branch, highlighted the brand’s philosophy. He mentioned that respecting individuality and visually expressing it connects deeply with the vibrant lifestyle Cathay promotes. The airline plans to keep expanding partnerships that enrich the lives of its customers, not just during travel but in their everyday activities as well.
Recent surveys show a growing trend among consumers wanting brands that provide more than just basic services. They look for experiences that enhance their lifestyles. According to a report by the Global Wellness Institute, the wellness industry is currently valued at over $4.5 trillion, underscoring a significant market for brands like Cathay that incorporate wellness into their offerings.
This trend reflects changing consumer expectations. People want brands that care about their lifestyles, making Cathay’s moves timely and relevant.
Through partnerships like this, Cathay is not only aiming for customer loyalty but also fostering a community that values experiences just as much as travel.
