The LHUT Meal centers around Hutcherson’s favorite: salmon, served with white rice, cabbage, plantains, and a skillet of cornbread. Christina Renteria, the café’s CEO, emphasizes that every part of this meal reflects Hutcherson’s personality and tastes.
“It’s all about what he loves,” Renteria says. Hutcherson agrees, saying he wanted the meal to be unique to him, adding, “People who follow me know that salmon is my go-to.” Alongside the meal, there’s a special drink: a family-friendly mocktail Lemon Drop, ensuring everyone can enjoy it together.
This meal will be available at Jake’s locations in both Hoover and Tuscaloosa on weekends until the end of November. Renteria chose Hutcherson for this partnership because he represents stability and growth in the food influencer arena. “I knew he was the right choice,” she notes.
The timing of the launch is significant for Hutcherson; it coincides with his late grandmother’s birthday, making this moment even more meaningful for him.
