In the main event, LA Knight faced Bron Breakker, with a similar disruption, making it all feel a bit stale.
Sami Zayn’s match against Rusev had potential but ended in frustration when Solo Sikoa interfered. It looked like Zayn and Rusev could deliver a solid bout, but the underhanded move derailed everything. This ongoing feud has been heating up, especially after Zayn’s win over Sikoa last week on SmackDown.
In another match, Roxanne Perez narrowly defeated Iyo Sky, with interference from the Kabuki Warriors. It’s worth noting that tension has been brewing within their group, especially as Asuka appears fed up with Sky’s attitude.
After Becky Lynch’s victory, she attacked Natalya, hinting at a future clash for the Women’s Intercontinental title. The night ended with Seth Rollins making a dramatic entrance, attacking LA Knight and CM Punk, which led to some chaotic scenes. General Manager Adam Pearce responded by setting up a Fatal 4-Way match for the World title at Clash in Paris.
While the day was packed with action, it mostly moved existing storylines forward without delivering satisfying match conclusions. The constant interference and recycled moves made it feel like WWE is stuck in a rut. Some critics point out that the rules of matches often go ignored, which can leave a hollow feeling.
Wrestling should be about thrilling encounters and significant moments in the ring. Unfortunately, this week’s matches featured repetitive sequences that drained the excitement. Yet, promo segments continue to shine, showing there’s still fire in WWE.
As fans and critics reflect on the performances, many hope for a pivot back to more engaging matches. For now, if you look for a workout, you might just find it during each match—waiting for the real action at the end.
