The Central Railway is adding four new chair cars to the Vande Bharat Express running between Solapur and CSMT Mumbai. This upgrade starts on August 28 and 29, boosting capacity to better serve busy travelers.
The updated train sets will feature two executive chair cars with 52 seats each and 16 chair cars with 78 seats each. There will also be two special chair cars that seat 44 passengers each. Altogether, the train will accommodate 1,440 passengers, offering 312 additional seats. This move is all about enhancing convenience for passengers on this vital route.
Yogesh Patil, Divisional Commercial Manager of Solapur, emphasized how this upgrade aims to meet growing demand and elevate the travel experience. “More seating will make it easier for passengers to choose our service,” he noted.
