Ann Arbor Police Probe Prowler Reports Near University of Michigan Campus: What Residents Need to Know

Ann Arbor police are looking into several reports of prowlers near the University of Michigan campus. The latest incident happened on August 18, 2025, around 1:30 a.m. A resident saw a man peering into their home before he ran away.

Other prowler sightings occurred on White Street, Dewey Avenue, and Thayer Street. So far, there’s no surveillance video of the suspect. Investigators are working on getting more detailed descriptions of the incidents.
