University of Nebraska President Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold will speak at the State of the University address on Thursday, September 4, at noon. The event will take place in the Nebraska State Capitol’s second floor rotunda in Lincoln.
Dr. Gold plans to discuss achievements and challenges facing the University across its four campuses. He will also share his vision for addressing these challenges and highlight exceptional contributions from faculty, staff, students, and partners who exemplify the “Odyssey to the Extraordinary” initiative he introduced last year.
“The University of Nebraska is a hub of innovation and collaboration,” Gold said. “As we tackle today’s challenges, we must also recognize the outstanding efforts of our community and envision a bright future ahead.”
