Patna Schools Closed: The District Administration of Patna has ordered the suspension of educational actions for college students up to Class 8 in all non-public and authorities schools till January 11, 2025, due to persistent chilly climate and low temperatures. This directive was issued by Patna District Magistrate (DM) Chandra Shekhar Singh in an official order on Sunday.
For college students in Classes 9 and above, schools will stay open with adjusted timings from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Activities associated to board examinations have been exempted from this restriction, as acknowledged within the order.
The official notice learn, “District Magistrate, Patna, has banned educational activities up to class 8 in schools, Anganwadi centres, and preschools till January 11, in view of the safety of children’s health in extreme cold. Instructions have been given to keep the teaching time in classes above class 8 between 9 am and 3:30 pm only.”
