The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri (NJP) route spans 562 kilometers, taking about 7.5 hours to cover. The Eastern Railway manages this train, ensuring timely service and comfort for passengers.

Initially, the train made stops only at Bolpur Shantiniketan, Malda Town, and Barsoi Junction. With the recent changes, passengers can now also board at Kishanganj railway station in Bihar. This expansion reflects the growing demand for connectivity in the region.

The train features 16 coaches, offering two seating types: AC Chair Cars and Executive Chair Cars. Tickets range from Rs 1,575 for an AC Chair Car to Rs 2,835 for an Executive Chair Car, making it accessible to various travelers.

Timings

The Howrah-NJP Vande Bharat Express departs from Howrah at 5:55 AM, arriving in New Jalpaiguri at 1:25 PM. On its return, it leaves NJP at 3:00 PM and reaches Howrah by 10:30 PM. These timings are designed for maximum convenience.
