LAPD Discovers Decomposing Bodies in Two Vehicles, Including Tesla Tied to Singer D4vd: Shocking Details Inside

Los Angeles police recently uncovered human remains in two cars at tow yards, stirring concern in the community.

The first set of remains was found on Monday at Hollywood Tow. A foul smell led officers to a Tesla with Texas plates, left abandoned in the upscale Bird Streets area of Hollywood Hills for about five days. Upon inspection, detectives discovered a head and torso packed in a bag within the trunk.

On Tuesday, another vehicle—a Honda Civic—was examined after being towed on August 25. This car is linked to a missing person report and is viewed as a different case. The body found in this vehicle was partially burned, prompting further investigation by law enforcement.

The Hollywood Hills case has been labeled a death investigation, as officials work to identify the remains. The L.A. County medical examiner’s office assessed the Tesla but couldn’t determine the gender of the deceased due to heavy decomposition.

The Tesla belongs to David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, a musician who gained fame on TikTok, attracting 3.6 million followers. Despite the grim discovery, D4vd is alive and actively scheduled to perform in Minneapolis soon.

This unsettling event highlights ongoing safety concerns in urban areas. A recent survey indicated that 61% of respondents in Los Angeles feel less secure in their neighborhoods than they did five years ago. Crime trends have shifted, contributing to increasing worries among residents. Experts suggest that community engagement and policing reforms could help address these fears.
