One way is to use a pressure cooker first, then finish them on the grill. You could also cut the ribs into individual pieces, season them, and smoke briefly, which can make them tender in about an hour. Alternatively, cooking them over direct heat and finishing them in the oven with glaze can also work.

However, these quicker methods can sacrifice some of the deep smoky flavor that comes from traditional barbecuing.
