Jackie Cuddeback, Chief Revenue Officer for the Philadelphia Phillies, highlighted the gravity of the issue, stating, “More than 600,000 families in Philabundance’s area are experiencing food insecurity—a third of whom are children.” The ongoing “Haul Away Hunger” initiative by Toyota underscores the urgency of this cause.
Historically, over the past 15 years, this food drive has amassed over 3.7 million pounds of nutritious food for Philabundance. This collaborative effort not only addresses immediate needs but also highlights the importance of community involvement.
