The Seattle Seahawks provided an updated injury report this week, showing some progress but still facing challenges.
Seahawks’ Injury Updates
Four players continued to be sidelined during Thursday’s practice:
- Cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee)
- Safety Nick Emmanwori (ankle)
- Safety Julian Love (hamstring)
- Running back Zach Charbonnet (foot)
Witherspoon and Emmanwori missed the Seahawks’ last game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but head coach Mike Macdonald suggested they might return against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. Love, who had been limited last week, played against the Steelers, while Charbonnet’s injury is new to this week.
On a brighter note, four out of five players limited in practice on Wednesday were full participants on Thursday. These players are:
- Linebacker Derick Hall (hip)
- Cornerback Josh Jobe (knee)
- Linebacker Ernest Jones (shoulder)
- Offensive tackle Abraham Lucas (elbow)
The only player who was still limited was rookie wide receiver Tory Horton.

Fans are buzzing on social media about the upcoming game, particularly regarding the potential return of key players. An online survey revealed that 68% of Seahawks fans believe Witherspoon’s presence could turn the tide, especially since the team’s pass defense has struggled without him.
