Tom Brady has teamed up with Aescape, a company known for its robotic massage technology. This partnership allows Aescape to use his recovery techniques, and Brady has taken on the role of chief innovation officer.
Brady, a legendary NFL quarterback with seven Super Bowl wins, emphasizes how vital recovery has been to his career. He mentioned that daily massages and care helped keep him performing at a high level even into his 40s. “I want to make that available for everybody,” he said.
Aescape, founded in 2017, has over 100 locations and has completed more than 25,000 robotic massages. The company uses AI to provide customizable massage experiences. They partner with high-end brands like Equinox and select luxury hotels. CEO Eric Litman believes that regular maintenance of our bodies can significantly improve longevity. He noted that massage services through Aescape start around $30, making it more affordable and convenient than traditional options.
With funding of $130 million from various investors, Aescape aims to expand its reach. Brady’s business partner, Alex Spiro, sees potential for these robotic systems to reach homes in the future, making massage care accessible to more people.
This trend reflects a growing interest in wellness technology. Recent studies show that people are prioritizing self-care, with many willing to invest in services that enhance their wellbeing. Massages and recovery treatments are becoming part of everyday routines for many.
As this technology evolves, we may soon see massage robots become a common fixture not just in gyms and spas but in people’s homes as well.
