Join the Flavor Fiesta: Lynn’s Exciting Food Truck Festival Hosted by the Chamber!

Lynn is buzzing with excitement for the first-ever Food Truck and Craft Beverage Festival this Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. It’s happening at the scenic Lynn Ferry Terminal, located at 398 Blossom St.

Food lovers can look forward to a variety of bites from over 15 food trucks, including popular spots like Cousin’s Main Lobster and Bent Water Brewing. This festival promises something delicious for everyone!

Ryan Newhall, Executive Director of the Greater Lynn Chamber of Commerce (GLCC), noted that the festival is creating quite a stir among North Shore residents. He believes the ferry terminal’s picturesque views will also attract participants from Boston, making it a convenient spot for food enthusiasts.

Newhall hopes this event will shine a spotlight on the ferry site. He’s excited about welcoming new residents to experience the local flavor and community spirit.

The idea for this festival started with Lynn resident Donald Castle, who joined the GLCC committee to help organize the event. The team features local leaders, including Christine Neals, Rick Starbard, Harry McCabe, and Kerry Ranieri, all dedicated to making this festival a success.

Interestingly, food truck festivals are gaining traction across the U.S. In a recent survey, 80% of attendees at such events reported trying at least two new food trucks. It’s a great way to explore new tastes and support local businesses.

Newhall also expressed gratitude to Mayor Jared Nicholson’s office and the Lynn Economic Development & Industrial Corporation for their support. He mentioned, “We have a lot of ideas and putting it into action takes a lot of hands. We’re excited about it.”
