Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is set to launch on November 6, 2025. Just over a month before its release, fans got a sneak peek at new gameplay during the Tokyo Game Show.
In a ten-minute demo, we see Princess Zelda, Mineru, and Rauru in action, battling foes in a level from the Depths. The game invites players to step into the shoes of iconic characters as they fight to reclaim Hyrule from the Demon King Ganondorf.

You’ll join a team that includes classic characters and some new heroes. As you battle, you can combine Zonai Devices with each hero’s unique abilities. This strategy will be key for taking down tough bosses and their minions.

If you have save data from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you’ll earn special weapons. Players will receive either a High Guard’s Sword or a High Guard’s Claymore after completing a mission.
