Experience the Thrills of the Werewolves of Whitefish: Join Our Haunted Hayride and Support the Flathead Food Bank!

The Clydesdale Outpost’s Haunted Hayride is back this October, inviting thrill-seekers to experience the chilling legend of the Werewolves of Whitefish. Get ready for a ride filled with scares through a timberline marked by the mysterious disappearances of miners over a century ago. This haunting adventure runs from October 16 to 18 and again from October 23 to 25, each night from 6 to 10 p.m.

Alongside the spine-tingling hayride, ticket holders can enjoy the Howl and Lantern Midway. It features exciting attractions, crystal ball readings, live music, food trucks, and photo ops. It’ll definitely be a night to remember!

This year, there’s an added twist. For every canned food item you bring, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a two-night stay at Clydesdale Outpost. The theme, “Hunger is the scariest monster of all,” supports local families through the Flathead Food Bank. It’s a great way to enjoy the fun while helping those in need.

The event wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of Lake View Builders, this year’s main sponsor. The Haunted Hayride has also gained recognition as a favorite, earning honors for Best Fall Event and Best Community Gathering in the local awards.

Co-owner Matt Arnold-Ladensack expressed enthusiasm about the event, saying, “We love bringing the community together for a good scare. Partnering with Flathead Food Bank helps us give back.”

Don’t wait; tickets are likely to sell out quickly. For those who want to join in on the fun, purchasing tickets in advance is the way to go!

In recent years, community events like this have become crucial for local engagement and support. It’s interesting to see how gatherings not only entertain but also address pressing social issues, like hunger, showing that good times can come with a purpose.
