Join the Richfield Church of the Nazarene for a Community Food Packing Event: October 9-11 – Help Fight Hunger!

Richfield, MI — Get ready for an inspiring community event! From October 9 to 11, the Richfield Church of the Nazarene will transform into a hub of activity, bringing together over 1,000 volunteers. Their goal? To pack more than 300,000 meals for children in need around the world.

This is the 11th year of the Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack Event. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to bond while making a difference. Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Kids as young as 5 can join if accompanied by an adult. It’s a heartwarming experience that the whole family will cherish.

Hours for the event are as follows:

• Thursday, October 9 at 6 PM
• Friday, October 10 at 9 AM and 11:45 AM
• Saturday, October 11 at 9 AM and 12 PM

Last year, volunteers shared that they felt a sense of purpose and community while participating. According to a survey conducted by Feed My Starving Children, 98% of participants reported feeling more connected to their community after these events.

Local businesses and community members have generously supported this initiative financially, showcasing the spirit of giving in Richfield. Additionally, if you would like to help feed those in our area, nonperishable food, especially items like crackers and cereal, are always appreciated for local distribution.
