The volleyball squad, which boasts an impressive 11-5 record and 3-1 in the SLC, will have two critical home matches this week. They take on Northwestern State on Thursday and East Texas A&M on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to support the players by wearing green and pink for awareness events.
On the golf front, SLU will participate in the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, giving athletes a chance to showcase their skills. Meanwhile, the tennis team will start their fall season at the UWF Invitational.
The reigning softball champions will also continue their fall schedule with a match against Coastal Alabama CC on Wednesday.
As always, fans can catch the games live on ESPN+. In addition, “Inside Southeastern Football” with Frank Scelfo airs Monday night, providing insights into this season’s developments for Lion football.
In a recent poll, about 70% of sports fans expressed excitement about attending live games again, highlighting the growing enthusiasm surrounding collegiate athletics. With health guidelines being eased in various regions, attendance at local events could surge.
