The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) has introduced that it’ll file a grievance towards food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy. The authority can be pursuing a authorized motion towards the platforms for attempting to monopolize the market.

NRAI president Sagar Daryani, “What we are absolutely not okay with is Zomato and Swiggy doing private labeling and selling food by themselves. In Zomato via Blinkit’s separate Bistro app and Swiggy launching Snacc for quick food delivery.”
The affiliation has claimed that by leveraging their dominant positions and entry to restaurant knowledge, Zomato and Swiggy are cannibalising the companies of eating places that depend on their platforms. The authority mentioned that this technique undermines truthful competitors and threatens the survival of hundreds of eating places throughout India.

Zomato and Swiggy haven’t commented on the allegations, with queries despatched to each corporations remaining unanswered.
