Halloween came early for Isa Machado and her family in Jacksonville, Florida. After moving into a large trailer, they began hearing strange noises throughout the house.
“We heard odd sounds, especially in the kitchen,” Isa shared. Her mom even started to worry that the home might be haunted. But the truth turned out to be much less spooky.

“We thought it was hilarious and sweet,” Isa said. They called animal control, who discovered that the raccoon was part of a family living in the crawlspace. The opening had been left unsealed, allowing them easy access.
Soon, what started as a spooky mystery turned into a fond memory. “Those little critters are the cutest!” Isa exclaimed.
