Jammu—Lieutenant General Manoj K Katiyar, the head of the Indian Army’s Western Command, recently issued a stern warning to Pakistan. He stated that if Pakistan attempts another attack on Indian soil, the military response will be even more forceful than the previous “Operation Sindoor.”

At a recent rally for ex-servicemen, General Katiyar highlighted the advancements in warfare technology since the 1965 war. However, he emphasized that the dedication and bravery of the Indian Army remain as strong as ever. He pointed out that Pakistan recently attempted drone strikes on Jammu and Pathankot airbases, but Indian defenses successfully intercepted these threats.

“If they provoke us again, the outcome will be more devastating than before,” Katiyar asserted. He indicated that the potential “Operation Sindoor 2.0” would target terrorist structures and Pakistani bases with even greater precision and power.

Katiyar credited the success of past operations to the cooperation of the local community, ex-servicemen, and military administration. He reaffirmed that the Indian Army is fully prepared along the 740-km Line of Control, with the Border Security Force overseeing the 240-km international border.

He made it clear that India will not compromise its sovereignty. Any aggression from Pakistan will lead to a response that could “make history.”
