Exciting News: Nebraska Medicine Unveils Plans for the New Gretna Landing Health Center!

GRETNA, Neb. — A new health center is on the way for the community. Nebraska Medicine is collaborating with Noddle Companies to build the Nebraska Medicine Gretna Landing Health Center. This center will open its doors to patients in late 2027.

The groundbreaking event is set for Thursday at 1 p.m. at the site located at 192nd Street and Lincoln Road.

This center is designed to serve the growing needs of the community. It will offer a range of services, including:

– Primary and specialty care
– Orthopedics and sports medicine
– Imaging technology
– Laboratory services
– Urgent care
– Pharmacy
– Procedural spaces

CEO Michael Ash, MD, shared his thoughts: “The Nebraska Medicine Gretna Landing Health Center aims to provide high-quality care for our community, making academic medicine more accessible.”

Gretna Landing will cover 31 acres and include not just the health center but also offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and fitness options. It reflects a commitment to creating a comprehensive hub for health and well-being.

This health initiative connects to a larger trend. According to a recent study by the American Hospital Association, nearly 30% of U.S. hospitals are expanding their services to meet increasing community health needs. This reflects a growing focus on accessible healthcare, especially in rapidly expanding areas.

As the world of healthcare evolves, local communities are becoming central to fostering overall wellness. With facilities like the Gretna Landing Health Center, residents can expect more convenience and specialized care right in their neighborhoods.
