Which food truck will claim the top spot? Carson City is throwing its first food truck competition, the Battle of the Bites, at the Northern Nevada Coin parking lot, 601 N Carson St.
The competition kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with more than 15 food trucks from Carson City, Reno, and Lake Tahoe. This is a great chance for everyone to enjoy live music, fun activities, and tasty food while supporting local trucks.
Attendees can cast their votes for their favorite dishes until 6:45 p.m., and the winner will be announced at 7 p.m. The winning food truck will take home a cash prize and the title of Carson City’s first Battle of the Bites Champion.
Part of the vendor fees will support the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, making this event a win for delicious food and the local community.
“Carson City deserves something exciting and different,” said Chelsea Lavender, the event organizer. “This event brings people together over great food and local talent.”
