The Vande Bharat Express, numbered 25305/25306, travels about 450 kilometers in roughly eight hours. Key stops along the way include Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Saharsa, Purnia, Araria Court, and Forbesganj. This train is significant because it connects Patna directly to Jogbani, a town near the India-Nepal border. It offers a convenient option for those traveling for work or tourism in Nepal.
Experts say this train could boost local economies by facilitating trade and tourism. As seen in a recent study by the Ministry of Railways, increased rail connectivity often leads to economic growth in surrounding areas.
In terms of ticket pricing, a journey from Danapur to Jogbani costs ₹1,310 for the AC Chair Car and ₹2,375 for the Executive Chair Car. The train operates six days a week, taking Tuesdays off, and offers modern facilities like reclining seats, charging points, and automatic doors.
