Ladies and gentlemen, happy Thursday! Today, let’s dive into an exciting new collaboration. The band HEALTH has joined forces with French DJ and producer BRVMES to remix their latest single “Thought Leader.”
If you’re not familiar with BRVMES yet, you might want to check him out. He’s been making waves in the darker French electro scene and has worked with artists like Rezz and Dillon Francis. His music has a unique blend of vintage French vibes and modern energy, all fueled by the underground scenes in Chicago and LA. Many say he’s on a mission to breathe new life into rave culture.
This remix takes me back to my younger days on SoundCloud, vibing to remixes of bands like Slipknot and Bring Me the Horizon. While it doesn’t have complex lyrics, the instrumental elements really stand out. It’s a perfect example of the tension and release that makes EDM so captivating.
I have high standards when it comes to bass music, so it’s a big deal for me to say this remix is my favorite one yet!
