Kim Kardashian is waiting for her bar exam results, and she’s got a quirky reason for why things might not go her way: ChatGPT.
During a Vanity Fair lie detector test with Teyana Taylor, Kim admitted to using ChatGPT for studying. But things haven’t gone smoothly. She explained, “I use it for legal advice, so when I need an answer, I just snap a picture and send it.”
It sounds convenient, but Kim isn’t pleased with the results. She said, “It has made me fail tests … all the time.” Frustrated, she even joked about yelling at the AI for giving her wrong answers.
Interestingly, Kim isn’t the only one exploring AI tools for studying. A survey from ResearchGate found that 25% of students use AI for homework help. However, experts warn that while AI can provide quick information, it might lack the accuracy and depth needed for complex subjects like law.
Kim is hoping for improvements from OpenAI, saying, “I’m counting on them to really help me.” With AI’s rapid evolution, it’s possible that future tools will be better suited for academic needs.
As for Kim, she can retake the California bar exam as many times as necessary. In 2021, she finally passed the “baby bar” test on her fourth try. The actual California bar exam is challenging, consisting of five essay questions, a performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. In July 2024, the passing rate was just 53.8%. It’s a tough challenge, but it seems Kim isn’t giving up just yet.
In a world where AI and education meet, will we see more celebrities like Kim balanced between tech assistance and personal effort? Only time will tell!
