Ohio countered with a lengthy drive, culminating in a three-yard touchdown by Bangura. However, the extra point attempt failed, allowing the Bobcats a slim 13-10 lead.
In a critical moment after the kickoff, Lowry connected with Williams, who broke multiple tackles for a 71-yard gain. Buckley then rushed for the game-winning touchdown, pushing WMU ahead 17-13.
