HONOLULU, HI – The Manhattan Jaspers Men’s Basketball team faced a tough defeat against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Saturday night, losing 86-56 at Bankoh Arena.
The Jaspers entered this game looking to build on their recent win over Utah Tech. They kicked off the game with a strong dunk by sophomore Erik Oliver-Bush, thanks to a great assist from Devin Dinkins. The Rainbow Warriors quickly responded, but Dinkins capitalized on a mistake and assisted Anthony Isaac, bringing the Jaspers closer with one of Dinkins’ three-pointers.
Throughout the first half, both teams exchanged leads, with Jaden Winston making key plays off Hawaii’s turnovers. When the second half began, the Jaspers showcased their defensive skills, with a steal from Winston leading to another dunk by Oliver-Bush.

- Anthony Isaac led the Jaspers with 17 points and grabbed four rebounds in just 19 minutes.
- Devin Dinkins contributed six points and four assists, playing for 33 minutes.
- Jaden Winston added six points and assisted on three baskets in 32 minutes.
- Freshman Quron Elliott scored seven points in 11 minutes, while Omari Moore made his mark by hitting his first college three-pointer.
Despite the loss, the team showed promise. Player performances suggest there’s potential for growth this season.
