Skipper Kelly Holhus guided the Tulane University sailing team to a solid third-place finish at the ICSA Match Race National Championship in St. Petersburg, Florida. With a crew of Sabrina Anderson, Christian Ebbin, Lillie Foster, and Martha Hughes, they secured this spot after winning four of their races over two days.

The Green Wave’s victories included teams like Illinois, Brown, Navy, and Boston College. Their winning percentage of 57 put them ahead of both Brown and Boston College, who also had strong performances.

Looking ahead, the team will compete in the Rose Bowl Open Fleet Race in Long Beach, California on January 3-4. This event marks the end of their fall season.
