In free throws, Jacksonville had its best game of the season, hitting 13 out of 15 attempts, making for an 86.7% success rate. Jones and Lockett were a perfect 8-for-8 from the line.
Arias and Hayden Wood each scored five points, while Borio added six. Freshman Michael Harper Jr. contributed four points in the closing minutes, having participated in four games this season. Seven-foot center Charles Caporaso made his debut, grabbing two rebounds in his first Division 1 game.
Next up, Jacksonville returns home for the Sunshine Slam Tournament in Daytona Beach. They will face Bethune-Cookman University on November 24, and could potentially play for the championship or third place the following day.
