On November 12, Valve made waves by announcing the Steam Machine, their first new hardware since the Steam Deck. This desktop gaming PC will launch in 2026 and is said to have six times the power of the current Steam Deck. It will support 4K gaming at 60 fps and come in models with 512GB and 2TB storage, expandable via MicroSD. However, the price remains a mystery.

He expressed disappointment that Valve didn’t seem to favor the console pricing model, which traditionally allows for lower initial prices supported by game sales. “Nobody said anything, but the energy in the room wasn’t great,” he recounted.
