World Insurance Associates Expands Its Portfolio with the Acquisition of Business Contractors Insurance

World Insurance Associates has made a move by acquiring Business Contractors Insurance Services (BCIS). This acquisition helps World strengthen its position in California.

BCIS, located in Santee, California, specializes in various types of insurance. They cover home, auto, contractor, and business insurance, aiming to serve both individuals and businesses effectively.

The financial details of this transaction remain undisclosed. During this process, World sought guidance from Fortrust Diligence and received legal support from Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla. BCIS was advised by Fennemore.

Rich Eknoian, the co-founder and CEO of World, expressed enthusiasm about BCIS joining the family. He noted the alignment in values, specifically their shared commitment to providing excellent service to clients.

Founders Josh Schwartz and Chad Galvas of BCIS shared their vision behind starting the agency. They aimed to create a company that prioritizes customer service and builds lasting relationships with clients. They also wanted to foster a team spirit among their staff, creating a family-like environment to help everyone grow together.

This acquisition adds to World’s recent activity; just last month, they acquired United Counties Insurance Group and Sprague Israel Giles. World Insurance Associates, established in 2011 and headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, operates over 250 offices across the United States. They offer a wide range of services, including personal and commercial insurance, employee benefits, retirement planning, and financial management solutions.
